Who is Ceraclere™?
Ceraclere was founded in March 2024. The company’s objective is to use the vast medical device development and marketing expertise of our key team members to develop topical products that effectively treat barrier-related skin diseases like atopic dermatitis (eczema) and psoriasis.
What is Ceraclere doing differently?
Before starting product development, Ceraclere needed to understand the experience of atopic dermatitis patients. We conducted market research on the USA population that helped us understand the impact of this barrier-related skin disease on sufferers. We learned that 40% of eczema patients are unhappy with their current treatment, 73% are currently looking for a better treatment, and 34% rate their treatment as ineffective. This is convincing evidence that there is a need for better treatment options.
Based on this understanding, Ceraclere implemented a science-based approach to develop effective treatments. Our Chief Scientist, with over 40 years’ experience researching skin anatomy and pathology, implemented a plan focused on replenishing those skin compounds known to be reduced in disease, believing that providing the correct profile and amount of these compounds will treat the disease and eliminate their symptoms. Ceraclere is working to accomplish this objective.
